If you want to have the ultimate Halloween party in your home, it is time to get going on all of your purchases.

One of the best ideas is to create a haunted house leading into the main part of the party. By using heavy black tarps, you can create walls for additional rooms in the area you plan to make your haunted house. By placing temporary walls up using black tarps, you make it easier to adjust the room as you see fit, also, it helps to give the illusion of a darker area for your guests.

A good set up if you choose to have the party in your home, would be to create an out door haunted house. You can use stakes to hold up the tarps that will create the walls. Determine what types of rooms or areas that you would like to have. This will determine how many of the black tarps you will need. You will need approximately 2 heavy duty stakes to hold the tarps up-right. You can find these easily at a local hardware store. You may want to start off small to start with maybe by creating two rooms to have set ups in and then a maze of sorts for scaring along the way to the party. Don’t forget to find volunteers to help with the scaring process.

If you don’t feel you have time to go out and shop for the black tarps or have tried and can not locate them through the stores in your local area, never fear, the internet is here. Black is not the only color available. What about using orange instead, maybe to create a young child’s fun house for a Halloween party. You can use the Orange as a back drop against the wall or how about to cover your floors to protect them from all the spills that might occur. This will help protect your carpeting and are easy to clean. When the party is over, simply take the tarps outside and spray them down with a hose. Hang them up to let them dry.

The great thing about using tarps, you can reuse them the next year. They can fold up and store easily or if you are in a bind, you can use them for other things. For example covering up equipment or furniture on the back of a truck or covering up something you may be storing in your yard that needs protection from the elements.
